Lake Brantley Chorus Boosters

Dear Fellow Patriots,                                                                                                                                                        We need your support to help us meet the choral challenge.  Your membership in the Lake Brantley Chorus Boosters will help.  Together with the Choral Director, Board members, and students, we urge you to please join! 

Generations of Patriot parents have helped the Chorus Boosters create an outstanding chorus program. With their generous contributions of time, talent, and financial assistance, the Boosters have been able to pay for the following features in Chorus:

* Every student is provided a uniform free of charge… the dresses we use cost approximately $80 and the tuxedos are $100.                           

*  It pays registration costs for All-State, district Solo and Ensemble, district Choral Music Performance Assessment and state Music Performance Assessment. In 2008-2009, we spent approximately $3,000.00 dollars on registration costs.      

*  It buys music for students to use in class. Choral scores cost an average of $1.50 per copy, if each class works on about 10 songs per semester and there are 210 students in the program, the total cost of music for a SEMESTER is $3,150.00.             

*  It helps to provide buses when we travel. The average cost of a school bus is $500.00 per trip and the average cost of a charter bus per trip/day is $1,500.00.

*  It helps to feed students at events taking place outside of school...sometimes it covers the entire expense, sometimes we ask the students to contribute.                                                                                                              

Our goal is to provide the best possible opportunities for the students with the least amount of cost.  If we are unable to reach our Booster membership financial goals, we will have to pursue additional fundraising opportunities.
